    Hi Mr. Bailey,

I have finally submitted to the voice within that has been pointing me to you. As an artist I aspire toward more than music business success! I am interested in taking the next step on this spiritual journey I see as my purpose in music. I cannot even say what it is I am looking for at this moment, except that I am seeking to expand further into my potential.

I recognize you as one of the only artists still thriving, that comes from the era of music that inspires me most. Coming from a musically inclined family and being the only child of a very talented musician who has passed on, I can say my goal is to be welcomed into a new musical family… One who embraces my gift because they understand it. Who can teach me what my soul aspires after at this point in my life. Maybe you can make a recommendation. I recently sent you a message on facebook and your daughter replied back to me. I hope that you have the time to check me out. With my sincerest best wishes for you and yours. I thank you for your brilliant contribution to music and the world.

    Peace and Blessings,
    Mikeia

    Do you remember?

  3. Mr. Bailey,

I just want to saythat I have been fan of EWF since my older brother would play your 8 tracks when I was growing up. My first 8 track was the EWF album with burning bush on it. And I write a song. I love that song to this day. Back in 2000, I was in Atlantci City and EWF was perfoming at the Trump Casino.we wer einthe front row and that was the best concert I have ever seen. and I have seen EWF at least 20 times over the years. I actually helped you off stage to come inthe audience to sing. THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Much love and continued success to you and the group.

    God Bless

    Hello EWF,

I am desperately looking for the 1978 album, FREE LIFE. They were produced by Phillip Bailey and Tommy Vicari. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I know this album is out of print and that it was the only album made by this group. The hit single “Wish you were Here” is pretty easy to find but I would like to have the whole album or cd if available or a copy. Most people didn’t really listen to the entire album but I did and I can tell you that almost the entire album was one of the best I had ever heard even to this day. Hope you can point me in the right direction. Thanks

    Dear Philip,

I’m a fan of you (and EWF) since the 70’s. In 2006 I finally had the change to meet you in Rotterdam. I was so nervous that I remained on the side. The only thing I dared to say to you was: happy birthday. I still feel so sorry, I could have talked with you for hours. I want to thank you so much for all your BEAUTIFUL music. “Your voice” is a part of my life for more than 30 years. Hope to see you soon in the Netherlands. Much love, Lonneke

    Dear Philip,

I just want to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed your singing and music growing up on Earth, Wind and Fire. I remember listening to your group’s music since I was 3 years old and believe me, I do have a pretty good memory to remember at such a young age and that was when you all did “That’s The Way of the World,” one of my favorite songs. My parents (they own alot of EWF albums) even went to the 1975 concert you all did and if only I was in my late teens at the time, me and some friends or boyfriend would’ve gone too, but like I’ve said, I was only 3. Eventually, I did get to finally go to your concerts years later, in the 90s and even now. I love mostly all of your songs, but whenever you sing That’s The Way of the World as the closing song of your concert, it always sound so good and makes
the entire concert complete because that’s the classic EWF anthem of course. It is really nice talking to you Philip and tell everyone in the group and Maurice I said hi.

  7. I’m a fan from way back, and I’m trying to find a copy of “The Wonders of His Love” – in particular “Make Us One” from that album. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the great work!

  8. Hi Philip , wow like so many of the other guys I have been listeing to you and the band for years , I have just purchased mt tickets for your visit to the United Kingdom and Birmingham , saw you at the nec a few years back but only by the skin of my teeth as they had a power cut and it was touch and go if you would get to play.Anyway its great to have you all back , in the 70,s I Played the cassette tape of the best of EWF so much it just stopped working , thank god for the ipod .Thankyou for bringing your music to so many people and to Reece for the inspiration , my kids are both in their 20,s now but they both still play your music . You guys should be really proud you changed the face of music .Do you or the band intend to produce anything new for the future .Best wishes Tony

    Philip
I fell in love with her voice and her way of showing his music, including Earth Wind Fire. Do not know if because I love music and the ways it may have and how your voice expands and envelops me every time I hear. In my house, whenever I hear something of his or EWF and especially hear you on “Can ‘t Hide Love” and “Reasons” is spectacular! In fact, his voice fascinated me!
I also hear the singing and enriching the best.
I would like to know more about their latest works.
I do not know if you answer comments, but would be immensely happy and honored if my answer.
While it may come to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!
    God bless!

  11. Mr. Bailey I was glad to find some of the songs from the group you started in the 70’s “Free Life”. I was wonder, was any of the members from EWF apart of Free Life?
